The School of Computer Science and Engineering is located on the Teatinos Campus of the University of Malaga. More specifically, on Bulevar Louis Pasteur, 35.


 

How to find us:

From Malaga Airport: To arrive from Malaga airport, as well as EMT buses (Malaga’s main transport company) which leave from the city centre, there is also a Renfe train station which connects the airport to the city centre and Malaga’s main station, Renfe María Zambrano. The main train station is connected to the “Perchel” metro station. From here, you can take metro line 1, direction Andalucía Tech. The closest stop to the school is called “Clínico”.

From main train station María Zambrano: From the main train station, access the “Perchel” metro stop. Take metro line 1, direction Andalucía Tech, until the “Clínico” stop, which is located opposite the school.

By metro: Metro lines 1 and 2, inaugurated in July 2014, connect the Teatinos University Campus with the Palacio de los Deportes. El Perchel-María Zambrano is the connecting station. The line is 12 km long and has 17 stops. The closest metro stop to the campus, “Clínico”,  is located 1 minutes’ walk away from the campus, it is part of Metro line 1, direction Andalucía Tech. By bus: Closest stop: Bulevar Louis Pasteur. Routes 8, 11 and 25 bring you within one minute of the campus. From the city centre take line 11. More information  [in Spanish].

By car:

  • From the city centre: Take the Alameda Principal (main avenue) and continue straight along the Avenida de Andalucía (2 km). At the end of the avenue, continue straight ahead on the motorway A-357 direction "Cártama - Hospital Clínico". After 3 km approx. take exit 68 "Hospital Clínico -. Universidad". Following about 200 m.  on the roundabout  take the second exit and follow 400 m. approx. On the roundabout make U-turn and to go back the same way and taking the first exit on your right. The School is the first building on your left. You won’t have any problem when parking.
  • From the North: If you are coming from Sevilla, Córdoba o Granada on the A-45, take Exit 142-A on your right to "Torremolinos / Algeciras / Cádiz", and follow signs to Algeciras. After 2 km., on your right, take Exit MA-20 "Málaga (Oeste) / Aeropuerto / Puerto".  After 1,5 km. take Exit 8 "Cártama/P. Tecnológico/C. de la Justicia/Universidad". Take Exit 68 "Hospital Clínico -. Universidad". Continue about 200m. and take the second exit on the roundabout. Go straight on for about 400 m. On the roundabout make a U-turn to go back the same way and take the first exit on your right. The School is the first building on your left, and it has a free car parking.
  • From the East: If you are coming from Almeria on the A-7, at km. 241, take the MA-20 exit towards Malaga (West) / Airport / Port.  After 1.5 km, take exit 8 towards the A-357, towards Cártama/ P. Tecnologócio /C. de la Justicia/ Universidad. Take exit 68 Hospital Clínico - Universidad on the right hand side. After about 200 m. at the roundabout, take the second exit. Go straight on for about 400 m. On the roundabout make a U-turn to go back the same way and take the first exit on your right. The School is the first building on your left, and it has a free car parking.
  • From the West: If you are coming from Marbella, Fuengirola on the A-7, take Exit 225 "AP-7 Torremolinos/Málaga (oeste)". After 11 km., take Exit 7 "Centro Ciudad/Cártama/Palacio de la Justicia/Universidad". After 1,1 km., take Exit  "Cártama/Palacio de la Justicia/Universidad". Following 1,3 km., take Exit 68 "Hospital Clínico -. Universidad". Continue about 200m. and take the second exit on the roundabout. Go straight on for about 400 m. On the roundabout make a U-turn to go back the same way and take the first exit on your right. The School is the first building on your left, and it has a free car parking.
  • From the airport: Take MA-23 "Málaga/Algeciras". Continue along MA-23. Take MA-20 "Málaga/Almería/Sevilla/Granada". Continue along MA-20 and take Exit 7 "Centro Ciudad/Cártama/Palacio de la Justicia/Universidad". After 1,1 km., take Exit  "Cártama/Palacio de la Justicia/Universidad". Continue about 1,3 km., take Exit 68 "Hospital Clínico -. Universidad". ontinue about 200m. and take the second exit on the roundabout. Go straight on for about 400 m. On the roundabout make a U-turn to go back the same way and take the first exit on your right. The School is the first building on your left, and it has a free car parking.

By taxi: From the city centre, a taxi costs around 7 euros. From the airport, it costs around 10 euros.

By bicycle: From the city centre, follow Avenida Herrera Oria until you reach Teatinos Campus. Stay in the bicycle lane. Do not take the route recommended for cars, as it goes along the motorway.

On foot: We do not recommend walking to the campus from the city centre. The route is long (about 6 km) and potentially dangerous as it crosses the motorway and several ring roads.
